Upledger’s outpatient programs provide intensive therapy for special needs and offer some of the most innovative healthcare currently available anywhere in the world.
Each program features a specially selected team of clinicians and skilled visiting therapists working together to alleviate the specific health concerns of each individual. Participants benefit from hands-on therapy that includes both one-on-one and multiple-therapist sessions, as well as supportive group sessions.
The focus of the intensive approach is to find and resolve a person's core problem so that his or her adaptational energies can be used for more constructive purposes. This approach has proven to be successful for many who have been using their energies to adapt and survive rather than grow and thrive.
Essentially, when a person experiences a trauma or pathology, the body, mind and spirit adapts by building layers of defense around the site of the dysfunction. Through gentle hands-on therapy, these layers are uncovered and the root cause revealed. From here therapists can work to eliminate the problem and help bring the body to optimum performance levels.
This process is aided by the extended and concentrated treatment each person receives. When sessions are spaced out on a weekly or monthly basis, the body is more likely to refer back to its previous adapting mode in the intervening time. By providing hands-on therapy for several hours a day, several days in a row, the reforming of old adaptational patterns is countered.
Usually, clients are referred by a CranioSacral Therapist who will have discussed its suitability with you prior to attending. However, this is not mandatory. You may simply complete an application, provide your health history and information, sign the required waivers and agree to payment terms. We ask for a deposit upon registration for participation as your deposit must be received to confirm your place.

Supplies: The program site has a small kitchen available for storing food and beverage. There is a table for sharing meals.
Attire: Wear comfortable clothing. We recommend layered clothing, in case of temperature variation.
Times: We begin our therapy days at 9:00 am with a meeting for both clients and therapists. Bathroom or comfort breaks are jointly agreed upon by client and the primary therapist. Clients are assigned a therapy team for the day consisting of a primary therapist; one or more support therapists and various adjunctive therapists may join the team to provide specific treatment. All clients will be treated in a large space in the treatment facility during the therapy day.
We break for 90 minutes daily for lunch, we then go back to work until we end the therapy day between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. The therapists then have an end of day meeting.
Caregivers will be included in the daily discussions and activities. Please let us know if caregivers will accompany the client, so that we may plan accordingly, as well as inform us of any special needs. Pre-registration is required for both clients and therapists.

The Upledger Institute International is located approximately 1/2 mile south of PGA Blvd on the west side of Prosperity Farms Rd. From the south, take either I-95 or the Florida Turnpike north to the PGA Blvd (Palm Beach Gardens) exit and go east. Go to Prosperity Farms Rd and turn right (south) for about 1/4 mile. We have a red tile entrance. Pull into the driveway marked 11211, and you will find us in the building on the left. Use the second floor entrance, on the east end of the building.
Priority Limousine is available from all three South Florida Airports.

Miami - $180 base rate. $234 total including tax and tip
Fort Lauderdale - $150 base rate. $195 total including tax and tip
Palm Beach Gardens - $60 base rate. $78 total including tax and tip

Black-out dates are February 26 through March 1, 2020 and October 7-12, 2020.
Program cost is fully transferable and refundable up to 6 weeks to the start date. Due to the unique expenses involved, a $500 deposit is required upon registration. Refund requests must be made in writing within at least 6 weeks in advance of the program start date. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to the start date of the program.
