Abdomen 2 - Hybrid Virtual and In-Person Program (VM2-VC and VM2-L)

In Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 2 you will expand on the functional anatomy, hand placements and techniques you learned in Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 1 to give you a deeper understanding of the abdominal cavity and its relationship to the cranial and thoracic cavities. The virtual component (VM2-VC) is pre-recorded and will present lecture, anatomy and layered lab palpation that will prepare you to attend the VM2 in-person 3-day class (VM2-L). The didactic information from VM2-VC will be immediately useful and allow for attending a 3-day versus a 4-day in-person lab class. Attending the combination of VM2-VC and then VM2-L is equivalent of the Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 2 (VM2) program. Contact us at 561.622.4334 ext 2, M-F from 8:30-6:00 eastern time to arrange for the VM2-VC program.

Program Highlights

• Explore the deeper structures within the abdominal cavity, focusing on the kidneys, pancreas, spleen, greater omentum, peritoneum, and their connective or suspensory tissues.
• Learn about the concept of restriction planes, mobility and motility.
• Begin to incorporate multiple long-lever techniques into your VM work.
• Participate in supervised, hands-on sessions that guide you through specific techniques for locating and evaluating each organ, along with the effects and contraindications.
