CTTB2: CranioSacral Therapy Touching The Brain 2: Stimulating Self-Correction Through The Glial Interface
CTTB2-V November 16-19, 2023 Virtual Central Time (Minneapolis)

Teacher/Presenter:

Description:
Glial cells are major regulators of nervous system development, structure and function. They are involved in all aspects of nervous system health and pathology. The craniosacral system connects directly to the glial cell matrix of the brain and spinal cord. This connection is a powerful route by which you can use CranioSacral Therapy glial technique to improve nervous system structure, function, healing and health.

In this course you will build on the information from CTTB1 and investigate glial cell types and function, encourage healing of nervous system disorders, stimulate optimal nervous system health by using CST glial techniques and enhance, enrich and refine your CST palpation and treatment skills.

CTTB2 Highlights:
~Eyes, retinal glia, optic tract
~Schwann cells, myelin sheath, axon pathways, neuromuscular junction
~Sensory system satellite glia (trigeminal ganglia, dorsal root ganglia), peripheral to central inflammatory cascade
~Autonomic Nervous System satellite glia (sympathetic, parasympathetic and enteric divisions), monitoring the stress response
~Gut-Endothelial barrier, Gut-Vascular barrier, Hepatic Portal System
~The peripheral and central extracellular matrix as a medium to address global and local patterns of health and distress.

The virtual CTTB2-V class format is the same as in-person classes, except for the practice sessions. This change is due to the difficulty some class participants may have in scheduling practice partners. The practice sessions are self-sessions, which means you will be practicing on yourself. As in CTTB1, you are guided through each self-session one step at a time. The practice sessions are recorded and you will receive a link to all practice sessions after the class.

After each self-session, you will fill out a short questionnaire about your experience. The questions are designed to simplify, deepen, and clarify your felt experience; enrich your perception; and free your unique descriptive voice. You are not required to share your responses to the questionnaire.

The self-development that arises in response to inquiries of this sort will enhance your ability to explain a session to a client, answer client questions, take notes, and describe CranioSacral Therapy.

After the class, you will receive a folder containing audio and video recordings of all the practice sessions.

YOU WILL BE PROVIDED THE ON-LINE ACCESS INFORMATION 5-6 DAYS PRIOR TO THE COURSE. Please respect the integrity of the work and the program, and the privacy of participants and presenter/s. No still or video screen captures are permitted during this program.
