Together, these structures comprise the central nervous system, the primary “command center” for the entire body. When the craniosacral system operates well, it has been shown that every other system in the body can enjoy vitality and proper function. This includes the cardiovascular, endocrine, musculoskeletal, reproductive, digestive, circulatory systems and more. That's why CST is so critical to your healthcare practice.

And CST goes far beyond this. It is a mindfulness-based, holistic modality that addresses body, mind, spirit, and energy. We teach a communication method that helps therapists be a neutral facilitator in another's healing process.

CST training consists of five core classes that introduce you to a wide variety of new skills and techniques. Another 30+ courses are available to augment learning in numerous specialized areas.

CST has been shown to help:

• Remove barriers to self-healing, whether those are physical, mental, emotional or energetic in nature.
• Assist in autonomic nervous system regulation and downregulate sympathetic overdrive.
• Release restrictions in the fascial network of the body, enabling clients to have a better representation in their somato-sensory cortex.
• Support a healthy interface between the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, where inherent tensions can be reflected up and down the spinal cord.
• Restore balance to the body’s numerous energetic and fluid systems.
• Increase ROM (Range of Motion) and strength, improve tolerance for ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and facilitate a higher quality of life based on functional assessment tools.
• Release residual effects of trauma, illness, old injuries, and accidents.
• Improve overall wellbeing.

CS1 Course Highlights

In this CS1 workshop, you will learn gentle techniques that assess and help normalize the craniosacral system, so the body can begin to self-correct. By unraveling pain and dysfunction at the source, you'll naturally help eliminate stress, strengthen resistance to disease, and enhance health in every dimension.

By the end of this four-day workshop you should be able to:

• Describe the scientific foundation and principles of CranioSacral Therapy - and why it's key to helping clients relieve pain and dysfunction at their source.
• Identify the subtle craniosacral rhythm and interpret its patterns to accurately assess dysfunction and improvements.
• Locate the source of physical problems by traveling through the fascial system, that complex web of tissue that encloses all body structures and systems.
• Demonstrate finely tuned palpation skills you can rely on as sensitive, intuitive healthcare tools.
• Release dural tube and intra-cranial restrictions to enhance interactions between the central nervous system and the rest of the body.
• Use techniques that facilitate significant health and relaxation effects, including Direction of Energy and Still Point Induction.
• Implement new skills to help clients with such common ailments as chronic pain, head and neck injuries, orthopedic problems, TMJ dysfunction, and more.
• Put a comprehensive and effective 10-Step Protocol into practice right away.
