Neuromuscular Therapy and Unique Aspects of Whiplash Syndrome (NMWS):

This 12-hour course will focus on acceleration-deceleration injuries, commonly referred to as ‘whiplash syndrome’. Our discussions include complex conditions that prevail in post-whiplash patients: internal thoracic soft tissue damage, shoulder injuries, seat belt injuries, TMJ incidents, torsion patterns, hip and knee injuries, and brain tissue insults. Powerpoint presentations include the structures that are at greatest risk, trigger point formation in post-whiplash syndrome, fractures and surgeries. Demonstrations include soft tissue protocols for the cervical region.
