Series of 6 Programs - This Virtual Series is an exciting opportunity to participate in a dissection program from the comfort of your home. Eric Moya has taken his decades of teaching dissection classes and created this Applied Anatomy program that will benefit all manual therapists.

Format: Virtual Series. Six monthly modules approximately one hour each. Each module includes time for question and answer.

MODULE 1: INTRODUCTION - FEBRUARY 28, 2023
This first module will introduce the topic and set the stage for additional modules. Topics covered in this first module will include a brief history of dissection, the experience of dissection, preserved vs. unpreserved dissection, introduction to the donor, and palpation/assessment of tissues. The session will conclude with some palpation suggestions and practice prior to the second session.

MODULE 2: THE CRANIUM - MARCH 28, 2023
This second module focuses on the cranium. Anatomy will be reviewed with both anatomical and dissection illustrations. Topics include osseous anatomy, membranous anatomy, and brain anatomy. Suggestions for palpation will be provided prior to the next module.

MODULE 3: THE SPINE - APRIL 25, 2023
Building off the previous module, this module will focus on spinal anatomy. Topics covered will include the osseous, membranous, and nervous anatomy of the spine. Suggestions for palpation will be provided prior to the next module.

MODULE 4: JAW & PELVIS - MAY 30, 2023
This module highlights the jaw and cervical regions, specifically the avenue of expression along with the myodural bridge. Both anatomical and dissection illustration will be provided as well as descriptions of clinical relevance, palpation, and suggestions for practice.

MODULE 5: EXTREMITIES & ORGANS - JUNE 27, 2023
This module will briefly describe and illustrate the anatomy of the extremities. There will not be time for an extensive review of such a large topic. Brief coverage will be given of some of the major joints (shoulder, knee), nerve plexi (brachial, sciatic), and gross musculature. There will also be an overview of the major organs of the thoracic and abdominal cavities. Specific suggestions for palpation and practice will be included at end.

MODULE 6: CONCLUSION - JULY 25, 2023
This module will close up the series with an overview of topics covered, information about will-body donation, and concluding thoughts.
