Designed to complement Visceral Manipulation treatment, Visceral Lymphatic Balancing (VLB) is an effective manual therapy treatment used to relieve congestion and remove accumulated waste and edema in the ventral cavity. VLB uses both short and long lever manual pumping and drainage techniques to simulate gentle, specific wave-like movements that stimulate fluid motion and aid in the re-circulation of the venous and lymphatic flow. These subtle manual techniques create a better environment for healing and optimal function by restoring the supply (inflow) and drainage pathways (outflow) to/from the organs and its surrounding structures.
In the VLB1 introductory course, the instructor will present a Six Step Local Treatment Approach to eliminate visceral congestion in the ventral cavity (thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic cavities). Within this Six Step Treatment Approach, each student will learn how to do the following:
~ Perform a Visceral Lymphatic Balancing Evaluation.
~ Evaluate and balance the Transverse Diaphragms and Autonomic Nervous System to remove barriers to the flow of vital structures (arteries, veins, nerves, lymphatics, and energy) and improve microcirculation.
~ Perform and apply Lymphatic Balancing Specific Techniques to release lines tension and eliminate congestion within the visceral cavities.
~ Perform and apply Lymphatic Balancing Supportive Techniques (Active Lymphatic Pumping Exercises) to extend and maintain the treatment effect beyond the current session.
This foundational course includes instruction on how to identify barriers to visceral health and how to remove these barriers to improve visceral lymphatic flow in the thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic cavities.
This course concludes at a future date with a physical check out verifying the appropriate technique application with a qualified BI assessor. The assessment will take approximately 15-30 minutes, and can be done at the location of the assessor (clinic), or on site at a seminar location where Kerry D’Ambrogio is teaching. You will be provided a list and contact information and be able to book an appointment directly at your convenience.
