Visceral Manipulation: The Pelvis Hybrid

Prerequisite: VM2 or VMIB or VM2-L

The Pelvis - Hybrid Virtual and In-Person Program (VM3-VC and VM3-L):

Visceral Manipulation: The Pelvis (VM3) studies the relationship between functional and structural mechanics of the pelvis. The virtual component (VM3-VC) is pre-recorded and will present lecture, anatomy and layered lab palpation that will prepare you to attend the VM3 in-person 3-day class (VM3-L). The didactic information from VM3-VC will be immediately useful and allow for attending a 3-day versus a 4-day in-person lab class. Attending the combination of VM3-VC and then VM3-L is equivalent of the Visceral Manipulation: The Pelvis (VM3) program.

Program Highlights:

  • Learn to identify and conduct Jean-Pierre Barral's method of evaluation and treatment for the organ systems of the pelvic cavity, including the integration of the pelvic organs with the complex ligament systems of that body region.
  • Discover techniques for differentiating between somatic and visceral causes for pelvic and low back problems.
  • Discover how to integrate the pelvic organs functional movement patterns.
  • Explore additional principles of direct and indirect approaches and their appropriate applications.
  • Integrate the pelvis into the body with principles of Lines of Tension and Interrelationships.
