Urogenital Manipulation

Urogenital Manipulation (UGM)

This course is aimed at those who want to help many patients who suffer from incontinence, dyspareunia, of premenstrual syndrome, infertility, pudendal neuralgia (syndrome of Alcock), prostate problems, lombosacralgie of pelvic origin, and in general all the dysfunctions of the genital area where osteopathy can provide a solution.

Course participants will include male and female students, so partners will need to offer themselves accordingly so that all students have the opportunity to perform the labs. Since the majority of the class is female, if females have any reluctance to allow male partners to practice the labs, please let us know well in advance of the class so the male participants can make alternate arrangements to have a female partner available at appropriate times.

Advanced Urogenital Manipulation (UGMA)

Advanced Urogenital Treatment for Women's and Men's Health
Building on your experiences from VM3, this class is an integration of external advanced urogenital techniques from a comprehensive whole body approach. 

Urogenital Manual Therapy and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation 1, 2, 3, 4

Urogenital Therapy and Pelvic Rehabilitation includes the following manual therapy disciplines of Jean-Pierre Barral: Visceral Manipulation, Listening Techniques, Visceral Vascular Manipulation, Neural Manipulation and New Manual Articular Approach. The program is an integration course bringing together these disciplines to train manual therapists to assist clients with urogenital and pelvic floor concerns and is currently available through affiliates in Latin America.

Diploma Program includes 4 course levels plus certification testing.

• UPFR1 - Visceral Manipulation for the small intestine, the kidneys, and the ureters.
• UPFR2 - Visceral Manipulation for the bladder, rectum, prostate, uterus, tubes, and the ovaries.
• UPFR3 - Listening Techniques, Autonomic Nervous System, the Polyvagal theory in manual therapy, as well as pregnancy and fertility.
• UPFR4 - Neural Manipulation for the plexuses: lumbar, hypogastric, sacral, and coccygeal, as well as Visceral Vascular Manipulation.
