Visceral Manipulation
Abdomen 1 (VM1)
Assessment of Structural Relationships between Viscera, and their Fascial or Ligamentous Attachments to the Musculoskeletal System(Corresponds to former VM1A.) Prerequisite: This course is intended for licensed or certified healthcare professionals, or for students nearing completion in their studies to become a healthcare professional, with palpation skills and experience as well as anatomical knowledge. Upon registration you will receive a list of anatomical terms and structures to review in advance of the course to help you achieve maximum benefit from attending.
The Pelvis (VM3)
(Corresponds to former VMII and PIVM.) Prerequisite: VM2 or VMIB
The Thorax (VM4)
(Corresponds to former VMII and PIVM.) Prerequisite: VM2 or VMIB
Applications for Pediatrics (VAP and VMPED)
Prerequisites VAP: VM2 (Abdomen 2) and training in CranioSacral Therapy. NM1 (Neuromeningeal Manipulation 1), VM4 (Thorax) and Listening Techniques (LT) are recommended, but not required. Typically a 4 day class. Prerequisites VMPED: VM2 (Abdomen 2), NM1 (Neuromeningeal Manipulation 1) and Listening Techniques (LT). Typically a 3 day class.
Visceral Manipulation Introduction (VMINT)
Prerequisite: This course is intended for licensed or certified healthcare professionals, or for students nearing completion in their studies to become a healthcare professional, with palpation skills and experience as well as anatomical knowledge.
Advanced Visceral Manipulation: The Brain
Prerequisite AVMTB: Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 1 (VM1) and Listening Techniques 1; An Integrative Approach to Evaluation (LT1); or having attended VM6 prior to 2008 Prerequisite AVMTB2: Advanced Visceral Manipulation: The Brain (AVMTB) Prerequisite AVMTB3: Advanced Visceral Manipulation: The Brain 2 (AVMTB2)
