Abdomen 2 (VM2)

(Corresponds to former VM1B) 
Prerequisite: VM1

Applications for Pediatrics (VAP, VMPED, PGF, VAPI)

Prerequisites VAP: VM2 (Abdomen 2) and NM1 (Neuromeningeal Manipulation 1). VM4 (Thorax) and Listening Techniques (LT) are recommended, but not required. Typically a 4 day class.
Prerequisites VMPED: VM2 (Abdomen 2), NM1 (Neuromeningeal Manipulation 1) and Listening Techniques (LT). Typically a 3 day class.
Prerequisites PGFA: NM4 OR VVMU OR VVML OR CSP1 OR CCPB1 OR VAP+SER1 OR Manual Osteopath. Participants must be licensed to treat pediatric and adult populations.. Typically a 3 day class, plus ½ day virtual program. PGFB follows, and requires PGFA attendance.
Prerequisites VAPI: No course pre-requisites, as this is an introductory course. This course is open to pediatric PTs, OTs, SLPs, pediatric DOs and pediatric DCs, who work with babies and children in their practices.  If you have already attended Barral Institute's VM1, VM2 and NM1 courses, you should attend the Visceral Applications for Pediatrics (VAP) course instead. 

Strategic Crossroads of the Body 1 (SCB1)

Prerequisite: VM2 and MALE OR MAUE OR MASP; OR VM2 and NM2 OR NM3; OR VM2 and VVMU or VVML.

Clinical Applications for Disc Disorders; Soft Tissue Applications (BICADD)

Prerequisite: VM2 and MALE OR MAUE OR MASP; OR VM2 and NM2 OR NM3; OR VM2 and VVMU or VVML

The Pelvis (VM3)

(Corresponds to former VMII and PIVM.)
Prerequisite: VM2 or VMIB

New Manual Articular Approach - Synoviolymphatic System of the Extremities (SSE)

Prerequisite: Visceral Manipulation 2 (VM2) + one of New Manual Articular Approach: Spine and Pelvis (MASP); New Manual Articular Approach: Lower Extremity (MALE);  or New Manual Articular Approach: Upper Extremity (MAUE).

Vagus Nerve and Autonomic Nervous System Classes

VNANS Prerequisite: VM2 and NM1
VNECC Prerequisite: VNANS

Visceral Manipulation: Advanced Clinical Applications

Prerequisite: For each ACA courses, the pre-requisite is VM1, VM2, VM3 and VM4. It is recommended to have also attended LT1.

The Advanced Clinical Applications for Common Gastrointestinal Issues - 1 - Virtual Component program is available to VM1 alumni.

Prerequisite: For Clinical Rounds - Professional healthcare practitioner, student in healthcare program or graduate awaiting licensure/accreditation.

The Thorax (VM4)

Prerequisite: VM2 or VMIB

Neuro-Visceral Manipulation of the Thorax and Abdomen (NVMTA)

Prerequisite: VM2 and NM2 or NM3

Advanced Visceral Manipulation: Visceral Osteoarticular Relationships (AVMVOR)

Prerequisite: Visceral Manipulation 2 (VM2)
