Prerequisite: Successful completion of SomatoEmotional Release 1 and at least two (2) CS1 teaching-assistant assignments with a score of 4.5 or higher within the past three (3) years, preferably with at least two different CS1 Instructors. CranioSacral Presentation Tools (CSPT)This class provides a caring and supportive atmosphere in which you will organize, practice and improve your presentation skills. You will learn to present to diverse groups in a clear and useful manner. Various presentation settings and time frames will be covered, such as: 30 minutes, an hour, or a one-day Overview of CranioSacral Therapy (CST) Overview or a two-day Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy, or one-day ShareCare class. CSPT will also help you enhance your skills as a CST practitioner. In the UII credo Dr. Upledger says that one goal of the CST practitioner is to, “… explain to any patient/client… what is going on in the most simple and straightforward terms possible.” This class will help you accomplish that goal. This class is designed for a maximum of 6 participants and will be held for 5 days. Each person will have time to practice four presentations and to receive the teacher's feedback and suggestions to enhance each presentation.
Testimonials"The word that immediately comes to mind to describe this course is "transformational". I chose to attend to stretch my limits and refine my skills in this area, and those goals were more than met. The small class size allowed discussions exploring topics at a level of detail unparalleled in any other course I have taken (I have studied CST through Advanced 1 with The Upledger Institute). We learned from each other's successes and critiques. Tad gently and unswervingly insisted on simple, clear presentations to help us reach our goal of sharing this work. Tad's sense of humor and ability to share his own successes and failures helped us not take ourselves too seriously. This is a phenomenal course, giving me one more opportunity to continue to become who I am. I know of no other like it. A huge Thank You to Tad for bringing it back into the curriculum!"
"CSPT was a uniquely challenging and rewarding class. As someone with a great deal of fear and resistance around speaking in front of a group, it took a lot just for me to show up, but I’m so glad I did. Tad’s feedback was very thorough yet always kind, and I experienced a phenomenal sense of growth during the course of the five days. Not only do I feel more prepared to present ShareCare and the other short classes now, but I also gained a greater understanding of the work I love by having to simplify and carefully examine the words I use to describe it. I would recommend this class to anyone who is looking for a way to grow as a person and a practitioner, and who loves CranioSacral Therapy and wants to spread the word!"
"The format of this class was wonderful. One day of download a how to and review, followed by day of presenting and playing student. I learned from all of it, and enjoyed working with my small class to become a better communicator. We went straight into vulnerability and were met with kind and clear feedback. It's given me much to consider and was so worth it."
"Tads' support and insights were impressively strong and clear. Can't fully express how much I appreciated working with him? The feedback on my own presentations was invaluable in helping me become aware of my "quirks" and how to improve them."
