Neural Manipulation: Neuro-Visceral Manipulation of the Thorax and Abdomen (NVMTA)

Prerequisite: VM2 and NM2 or NM3

Neuro-Visceral Manipulation of the Thorax and Abdomen (NVMTA)

The workshop will present specific and advanced techniques that work with the nervous system of the abdomen and thorax.

Course Highlights:

  • Discover locations in the body where the nervous system of the abdomen and thorax can be influenced directly or via trigger points.
  • Evaluate and manipulate the nervous system in relation to the skin of the abdominal region.
  • Explore the nervous system structures within the abdominal cavity, focusing on the hiatus, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, small intestine and large intestine.
  • Participate in supervised, hands-on sessions that guide you through specific techniques for locating and evaluating very precise structural points related to the abdominal organs to facilitate optimal release of restricted tissues.

“Having the opportunity to take the NVMTA class taught by Olivier Bazin was an amazing experience! This seminar takes very complex material that involves manipulation of the neural system, including the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems and corresponding abdominal viscera, and then presents new techniques in a way that is easily understood. If you want to fine tune your skills in advanced neuro-visceral manipulation, this is the course to take!”
