Advanced CranioSacral Therapy

ADV1 Prerequisite: SomatoEmotional Release 2 (SER2); as well as being ready/able to do deep introspective work and be comfortable giving and receiving SomatoEmotional Release. While each person's experience is unique, typically a span of practice of several months after attending SER2 will enhance your ADV experience. 

We also recommend you have given 25 SER sessions, have a competent skillset of 10 step protocol and avenue of expression and have received ongoing CST/SER therapy prior to the class. Coming into the class being prepared and ready to address significant issues creates a more efficient therapeutic experience. Attending additional workshops such as SomatoEmotional Release Technique: Mastering the Inner Physician (SERTIP), Clinical Application Programs (CASR), The Brain Speaks (TBS) or other courses in the CST curriculum helps you gain even more experience to bring into the ADV program. SER study groups are also recommended to broaden your experience.

Unwinding Meridians: Applying Acupuncture Principles to CST (UMAC)

Prerequisite: CranioSacral Therapy (CS2) for UMAC1; UMAC1 for UMAC2, UMAC3, UMAC4; see each program for further details and requirements; any 2 levels for UMAC-PRAX

BioAquatic Explorations/Dolphins

Prerequisite: Varies from none to CranioSacral Therapy 1 to Advanced CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy for Cranial Nerves 1 (CSCN1)

Prerequisite: CranioSacral Therapy 2 (CS2), ability to palpate the craniosacral rhythm well, and AT LEAST 25 face/mouth protocols from CS2

CranioSacral Presentation Tools (CSPT)

Prerequisite: Successful completion of SomatoEmotional Release 1 and at least two (2) CS1 teaching-assistant assignments with a score of 4.5 or higher within the past three (3) years, preferably with at least two different CS1 Instructors.

AND Submission of: Application form, including written recommendations from 2 UII CST instructors on the formal recommendation forms.

Clinical Applications

Prerequisite: Varies from CranioSacral Therapy 2 (CS2) to Advanced CranioSacral Therapy (ADV)

Open Forum - Expanded Evaluation and Body Mechanics (ZBOF)

Prerequisite: ZB2

Avenue of Expression: A Feldenkrais Approach (AOEF)

Prerequisite: Although this class is geared toward craniosacral therapists, no prior knowledge or experience is required. There are no prerequisites, and you may invite friends or clients who wish to learn self-care and develop self-awareness.

CranioSacral Therapy and the Immune Response Curriculum

Detailed A&P of the Immune System – Palpation, Mapping, and Application of CST to Issues Caused by Inflammation

Prerequisite: SomatoEmotional Release 1 (SER1)

Applications for Pediatrics (VAP and VMPED)

Prerequisites VAP: VM2 (Abdomen 2) and training in CranioSacral Therapy. NM1 (Neuromeningeal Manipulation 1), VM4 (Thorax) and Listening Techniques (LT) are recommended, but not required. Typically a 4 day class.
Prerequisites VMPED: VM2 (Abdomen 2), NM1 (Neuromeningeal Manipulation 1) and Listening Techniques (LT). Typically a 3 day class.
