Visceral Lymphatic Manipulation (VLM)
Visceral Lymphatic Manipulation presents an original manual approach to the lymphatic circulation of the organs. Participants learn to evaluate visceral congestion through precise anatomy, General and Local Listening, palpation, tissue viscoelasticity, thermal changes, skin mobility, and vascular landmarks. Because the lymphatic vessels are too small to palpate directly, the arterial and venous pathways provide practical guides for addressing the deep, intermediate, and superficial lymphatic systems.
The seminar introduces a three-dimensional approach using gentle compression-decompression, perivascular sweeping, induction, directional drainage, and dermal techniques. Particular attention is given to the thoracic outlet, diaphragm, cysterna chyli, principal lymphatic collector pathways, abdominal pressure relationships, and the influence of respiration on lymphatic return. Integrated with Visceral Manipulation, the work emphasizes evaluating organ mobility, attachments, vascularization, and innervation before lymphatic treatment, while refining the practitioner’s sensitivity to changes in density, elasticity, fluid resistance, edema, vascular tension, and organ movement.
