CCPB1: CranioSacral Applications for Conception, Pregnancy and Birthing 1
CCPB1 January 24-27, 2019 Washington D.C.
In addition to the usual teaching, the obstetrics class will include a mix of demonstration patients, props and biological slides designed to give you a thorough understanding of anatomy and palpation on many different levels.
To help you prepare and derive maximum benefit from the program, we recommend you read A Brain is Born by John. E. Upledger. DO, OMM, available at http://shop.iahe.com/Product-List/Textbooks/A-Brain-is-Born.
On the third and fourth days, you are requested to refer demonstration participants upon which you can practice the demonstrated techniques under supervision. We're looking for expectant mothers in their second or third trimester and newborns who are 6 months of age or less (and their Mothers).
The pregnant moms and newborns are typically provided solely by you and your classmates, and often receive immeasurable benefits from attending. Unfortunately, if participants are unable to provide a sufficient number of patients, the educational quality of the seminar may be impacted. Do not assume others are able to refer a patient - please complete and return the Demonstration Application form, available at http://www.upledger.com/seminar_info/Terms/COB1DemoApp.doc.
